Yakushiji's east pagoda disassembled to 1st layer
NARA, Japan - The three-layer east pagoda of Yakushiji, a Buddhist temple listed as a World Heritage site in Japan's ancient capital of Nara, is disassembled to the roof of the first layer on April 8, 2014, with the central pillar remaining in the middle as the structure undergoes renovation.
