China-Philippines disputes in S. China Sea
BEIJING, China - Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying holds a press conference at the ministry in Beijing on May 14, 2014. The Philippines said the same day it has lodged a protest over China's fortification of another contested reef in the South China Sea. Hua said she cannot understand Manila's intention as "the reef is Chinese territory."
