Vietnamese candidate to work in Japan
CHIBA, Japan - A Vietnamese woman, who aims to work as a certified caregiver in Japan, gives a speech during a ceremony to launch training in the Japanese language for her and her compatriots who have recently arrived in Japan, in the city of Chiba, near Tokyo, on June 9, 2014. After undergoing the language training, 138 Vietnamese, who have applied for a bilateral program to allow Vietnamese to work as nurses and caregivers in Japan, will work as trainees at hospitals and care facilities across Japan before sitting for Japan's national exams to be certified as nurses or caregivers.
