Cabinet OKs collective self-defense, reinterprets Constitution

TOKYO, Japan - New Komeito party leader Natsuo Yamaguchi attends a press conference in Tokyo on July 1, 2014, after the Japanese Cabinet approved reinterpreting the Constitution so the Self-Defense Forces can defend allies under armed attack in collective self-defense.
