Young disaster survivor to debut in world golf tourney
ISHINOMAKI, Japan - Amu Hiratsuka, a 14-year-old golfer and 2011 disaster survivor, practices tee shots with a new driver replacing the old one damaged by the tsunami in Matsushima, Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan, on June 14, 2014. Hiratsuka will participate as a representative of Japan in the Callaway Junior World Golf Championships scheduled for July 14-18 in San Diego in the U.S. state of California.
