Hideyoshi's surcoat shown to press before exhibition
KYOTO, Japan - A restored battle surcoat believed to have been worn by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a powerful warlord in the 16th century, is disclosed to the press at Kodaiji, a Buddhist temple in Kyoto City, on July 9, 2014. The coat will be displayed at the Kodaiji Sho Museum from July 20 to Aug. 3 in the western Japanese city.
