'Hida beef' exported from Nagoya airport for 1st time

NAGOYA, Japan - A cargo of the famous Hida beef from Gifu Prefecture is ready for loading onto an airplane bound for Bangkok, Thailand, at Chubu Centrair International Airport in Nagoya, central Japan, on Dec. 22, 2014. It was the first time the prized beef brand had been exported from the airport, which is much closer to Hida Takayama where beef cattle are raised than Fukuoka airport in southwestern Japan used previously.
