OSAKA, Japan - Daihatsu Motor Co. unveils a partially restyled regional model of the "Mira Cocoa" minicar series in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture, western Japan, on Aug. 26, 2014. The model caters to customers in the Kinki region that includes Osaka and Kyoto. The remodeled series offers 160 different color combinations for the body and interior components as well as different versions according to 11 regions.

5 mil. yen grant for Bunraku puppet show in Osaka

OSAKA, Japan - A Bunraku puppet receives a document on a 5 million yen grant in Osaka on Aug. 26, 2014, as the first recipient of the grant from Arts Support Kansai, a body launched in April to support cultural and artistic activities in the Kansai region. Keihanshin Building Co. President Kenjiro Nakano has decided to donate 5 million yen to the body to support the Bunraku puppet show.
