Sneak shot-preventing LED light system developed

KYOTO, Japan - A university student holds a smartphone with a "Warning" sign on the screen in Kyoto, western Japan, on Sept. 3, 2014, in a demonstration of a sneak shot-preventing system based on LED lighting. A team at the Kyoto-based Ritsumeikan University developed the system, which is sensitive to changes in lighting levels and which automatically stops a smartphone's camera function.
