GIFU, Japan - Professor Akihito Sano of Nagoya Institute of Technology on Sept. 9, 2014, explains in Kakamigahara, Gifu Prefecture, a new walker assist device called "ACSIVE," developed jointly with Imasen Engineering Corp. Spring assisted "ACSIVE" does not rely on batteries or motors.
