Daihatsu launches small, energy-efficient car in Malaysia

OSAKA, Japan - Daihatsu Motor Co. announces in Osaka, western Japan, on Sept. 16, 2014, the launch in Malaysia of the compact passenger car Axia, a low-priced energy-efficient vehicle, becoming the first automaker to clear the nation's eco-friendly vehicle standards.
