104-year-old Japanese sprinter gets sports award

NAGASAKI, Japan - Hidekichi Miyazaki, the 104-year-old Guinness World Record holder for the oldest competitive sprinter, meets the press in Isahaya, Nagasaki Prefecture, southwestern Japan, on Oct. 12, 2014, after receiving the ninth Japan Sports Grand Prix award from the Japan Sports Association for his distinguished accomplishments.

        TAKARAZUKA, Japan - People in Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefecture, the city famous for the Takarazuka Revue, dance together in a line on Nov. 1, 2014, as they attempt to set a world record for the longest single line of dancers. They set a record recognized by the Guinness World Records when 4,395 people danced for more than 5 minutes in a line, beating the previous record set in 2012 in the United States with 2,569 dancers.
