VW releases compact EVs for Japanese market

TOKYO, Japan - Volkswagen Group Japan unveils in Tokyo on Oct. 14, 2014, the "e-up!" (R) and "e-Golf" models, the first compact electric cars to be sold in the Japanese market. Their release is scheduled in 2015.

            TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows a compact single-lens display module developed by Sony Corp. and attached to eyewear, unveiled by the company on Dec. 17, 2014. If a user is playing golf or cycling, for example, sunglasses equipped with the new device connected to a smartphone can provide information such as course maps or distance readings, according to Sony.
