TEPCO removes part of reactor building cover at Fukushima plant
TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken Oct. 31, 2014 from a Kyodo News helicopter shows the No. 1 reactor building of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi complex in northeastern Japan, after its operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. removed a panel from the roof of the cover shrouding the building, which is a first step toward removing spent fuel rods stored in a cooling pool in the building.
