Shiseido finds new way to lure foreign customers

TOKYO, Japan - A sales clerk at a Shiseido Co. store in Tokyo shows a wrapping box specifically designed for foreign customers - with the logo stipulating "Ginza Tokyo" to show the purchase is made in Japan - in October 2014 in anticipation of increased demand following the addition of cosmetics to an expanded tax-free list as of Oct. 1.
