Haneda airport runway to be extended in December

TOKYO, Japan - The 3-kilomter-long Runway C at Haneda airport in Tokyo, shown in this aerial photo taken on Nov. 8, 2014, from a Kyodo News helicopter, is set to be extended 360 meters to the southeast in December to permit large jetliners to use the increasingly internationalizing airport.
