Reporter pleads not guilty to defaming S. Korean pres.
SEOUL, South Korea - Members of a conservative South Korean civic group protest against a car carrying Tatsuya Kato, former chief of the Seoul bureau of the Japanese mass-circulation daily Sankei Shimbun, in the South Korean capital on Nov. 27, 2014, after Kato pleaded not guilty at the first preliminary hearing at the Seoul Central District Court on charges of defaming South Korean President Park Geun Hye in an article about her whereabouts during the deadly ferry disaster in April.
