Ex-Chinese public security chief Zhou expelled from party
BEIJING, China - Zhou Yongkang, a former Chinese public security chief, attends the closing ceremony for the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party at Beijing's Great Hall of the People in November 2012. On Dec. 5, 2014, the party expelled Zhou, whom it had been investigating for suspected "disciplinary violations," China Central Television reported.
