Year-end event in Yonago to clear lies by eating tofu
YONAGO, Japan - A young boy puts a piece of paper after writing lies he told this year into a post set up next to a huge tofu in Yonago, Tottori Prefecture, Japan, on Dec. 6, 2014. The event was held based on a local tradition that liars are forgiven if they eat tofu at the end of the year.
