Indian bank educates more women on opening accounts

MUMBAI, India - Women take part in a financial seminar at the Mumbai branch of Bharatiya Mahila Bank in the western Indian city on Nov. 29, 2014. The Indian government's initiative aimed at improving the current low percentage of households with bank accounts has made little progress as bank services remain inaccessible especially to the poor in rural areas.
