Ruling bloc retains control, DPJ leader Kaieda to resign
TOKYO, Japan - Combination photo shows Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (R) attending at a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 15, 2014, following the ruling coalition's landslide victory in the general election the previous day.
