Memorial pole built beside marriage celebrating tree
MATSUE, Japan - Kunimaro Senge (C), the eldest son of the chief priest of the Izumo-taisha grand shrine in Shimane Prefecture, western Japan, builds on Dec. 16, 2014, a memorial pole on the side of a camellia tree planted in September in a forest park in Izumo to commemorate his marriage with Princess Noriko -- now Noriko Senge -- the second daughter of Emperor Akihito's late cousin Prince Takamado.
