JFA braces as Aguirre named in Spanish match-fixing complaint
TOKYO, Japan - Kazutake Nishizawa, media officer of the Japan Football Association, meets the press in Tokyo's Bunkyo Ward on Dec. 16, 2014, after Japan manager Javier Aguirre was named by Spain's anticorruption prosecutor for alleged match fixing in a 2011 game in the country's top-flight soccer league. Nishizawa said the JFA will undertake information gathering on its own.
