Japan-U.S. antinuclear disaster drill held at Yokosuka base
YOKOSUKA, Japan - A U.S. soldier undergoes screening during a Japan-U.S. joint drill at the U.S. Navy's Yokosuka base near Tokyo on Dec. 17, 2014. The drill was conducted on the assumption that a crew member of the U.S. aircraft carrier George Washington had been exposed to radiation on the nuclear-powered ship and had suffered a broken bone.
