NRA chief opines on Takahama nuke plant's safety

TOKYO, Japan - Shunichi Tanaka (2nd from R), chairman of the Nuclear Regulation Authority, speaks in Tokyo on Dec. 17, 2014, about a report that the No. 3 and 4 reactors at Kansai Electric Power Co.'s Takahama nuclear power plant in Fukui Prefecture, western Japan, have cleared the NRA's tougher safety requirements.
