Mascot characters from Japan join tourism blitz in Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Mascot characters from six prefectures in Japan's northeastern region of Tohoku join a tourism campaign in Taipei on Dec. 19, 2014, urging Taiwanese people to visit the region recovering from the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster.
