Abe pledges $2.5 bil. for Middle East
CAIRO, Egypt - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe delivers a speech at a meeting of government officials and business leaders from Japan and Egypt in Cairo on Jan. 17, 2015. Abe said Japan will provide $2.5 billion to help stabilize the Middle East, as Japan aims to boost its contributions in nonmilitary fields such as humanitarian assistance and infrastructure development.
