Denso unveils system using electric vehicles as part of power grid

NAGOYA, June 4 Kyodo - A Denso Corp. official explains the use of an electric vehicle as a storage battery for connection to the power grid during a press preview at its plant in Anjo, Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, on May 28, 2015. Under the Pico Grid System for Light Electric Vehicles, they can also serve as power sources in blackouts during disasters and other contingencies, such as for lighting, computers and mobile phones.
