Princess Mako's engagement to be announced on Sept. 3

TOKYO, Japan, Aug. 17 Kyodo - Combination photo shows Princess Mako (R), the eldest granddaughter of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko, and her longtime boyfriend Kei Komuro. It was reported on Aug. 17, 2017, that the two will meet the press together on Sept. 3 for the announcement of their engagement.
