MSDF ship returns home after Indian Ocean antiterrorism mission
SASEBO, Japan - The 8,150-ton Maritime Self-Defense Force ship Hamana returns to Sasebo in Nagasaki Prefecture on Aug. 26 after having ended its mission to refuel vessels undertaking U.S.-led antiterrorism operations in the Indian Ocean amid controversy as to whether Japan should continue with the mission.
