Japan, N. Korea fail to narrow gap but agree to meet often
ULAN BATOR, Mongolia - Song Il Ho, North Korean ambassador to normalization talks with Japan, speaks to reporters at the end of two-day talks in Ulan Bator late on Sept. 6. He said the atmosphere of the just-ended talks was ''the best among the contacts with Japan thus far.''
