Abe ready to leave office if refueling mission not continued
SYDNEY, Australia - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe speaks at a news conference at a hotel in Sydney on Sept. 9 following the end of the two-day summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. Abe indicated that he is ready to resign if he fails to extend Japan's refueling mission in the Indian Ocean for U.S.-led antiterrorism operations in and around Afghanistan.
