Tokyo Stock Exchange launches trial carbon footprint trading

On August 22, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) announced that three convenience store companies, Seven-Eleven Japan, FamilyMart, and Lawson, will begin a demonstration experiment for joint delivery. For one week from August 1, the delivery trucks will be sent from each company's distribution bases to XFRONTIER, a joint delivery center of Sagawa Express (Koto Ward, Tokyo). They will then deliver beverages, confectionery, daily goods and other items to a total of 40 stores in the bay area of Tokyo. Japan Education Association estimates the cost of switching to September enrollment

The Japan Society for Educational Research (JSSER) (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; Teruyuki Hirota, President; Professor, Nihon University, College of Letters, Science and Technology) has estimated the cost of the government's plan to switch to September enrollment, which totals more than 6 trillion yen.
