Gov't eyes 15 tril. yen spending for FY 2009 extra budget
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Aso Taro answers questions from reporters on a fiscal 2009 supplementary budget at his office in Tokyo on April 8. The government is planning to compile a supplementary budget that will involve actual fiscal spending of 15 trillion yen, the largest-ever amount for an extra budget, to help Japan overcome the current economic crisis.
