Teen golf player Ishikawa returns home
NARITA, Japan - Ryo Ishikawa gives a press conference at Narita airport in Chiba Prefecture on April 12 after returning home. His debut at the Masters Tournament ended in disappointment April 10 after he missed the cut by five strokes. Ishikawa, at 17 the second-youngest player after Tommy Jacobs to compete at the Masters, struggled to a 5-over-par 77 in gusty winds at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, to finish 73rd on 6-over 150 at the first major of the season on the U.S. PGA Tour.
