People visit whisky distillery, inspired by TV drama
TOKYO, Japan - Visitors stroll through the grounds of Nikka Whisky Distilling Co.'s distillery in Yoichi on Japan's northernmost main island of Hokkaido on Dec. 1, 2014. The distillery has seen an increase in visitor numbers due to public broadcaster NHK's television drama series featuring the life of Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka who is known as the father of Japan's whisky industry, and his Scottish wife Jessie Roberta Cowan.
