STORYLINE:
A Chinese-built underwater tunnel is expected to bring convenience to people in Bangladesh.
The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel is the first underwater tunnel in the country.
It's located at the estuary of the Kanapuri River in Chattogram City, and connects the east and west banks of the river.
The tunnel built by China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) marked the completion of its south tube last month.
It has created more than 5,000 jobs so far.
