STORYLINE:
South Korea resumed its annual bell-ringing ceremony to celebrate the New Year after two years of suspension due to COVID-19.
The ceremony, hosted by the Seoul metropolitan government with the theme of "Ringing of the heart, beginning of hope," took place at midnight of Saturday at Bosingak Pavilion in central Seoul with about 50,000 people attending.
