STORYLINE:
The Chao Embroidery is one of the most famous embroideries in China.
Dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907), it became well-known in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911).
It has full composition, various stitches, clear texture, gold and silver thread inlays, high supporting ground, strong color, and strong decorativeness.
The Chao embroidery was added to China's national intangible cultural heritage list in 2006.
