STORYLINE:
Each year on the third Monday of January in Austin, the capital city of Texas, Texans come together for a march to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr.
This year's event kicked off with a short program at the MLK statue on the University of Texas (UT) campus. The participants then marched to the State Capitol for a rally.
After that, the march proceeded to a historic site, Huston-Tillotson University, for a community festival.
