STORYLINE:
Some Beninese on Sunday paid tribute to the victims of the tragic accident that claimed over 20 passengers' lives in central Benin's Dassa-Zoume on the previous Sunday.
According to a government statement, the accident occurred following a collision between a bus carrying 45 passengers coming from Parakou for Cotonou, and a truck.
Over 100 Beninese walked on the streets of Cotonou, Benin's largest city, before laying white roses at the foot of the monument of the Remembrance Square, to express their condolences to the bereaved families.
