On Sunday, dazzling fireworks illuminated the night sky in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as Thean Hou Temple held a lavish Lantern Festival gala, drawing more than 3,000 people. Thean Hou Temple is an important place for Malaysian-Chinese to embrace Chinese culture. The quaint temple lit up some 6,000 red lanterns every day during Chinese New Year.
