It is a mega data project launched in February 2022 and designed to have the country's less developed inland regions store and process data transmitted from economically advanced eastern areas. Qingyang is one of eight national computing hubs in China. The eight national computing hubs, as the backbone connection to China's computing network, will develop data-center clusters, carry out collaborative construction between data centers, cloud computing and big data, and bridge the gap between eastern and western regions in computing resources.
