Chinese researchers recently published their findings in the journal Historical Biology.    From 2013 to 2015, a team led by Yang Qingping, a research fellow with the Guangxi Institute of Conservation and Archaeology Research, carried out excavations in the Zuojiang basin, and found several Neolithic sites.
