They met on the sidelines of the 42nd ASEAN Summit of leaders being held on May 10-11 in the tourist town in Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara province. Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi told reporters that during the meeting, they expressed optimism about their two countries meeting the bilateral trade target of 15 billion U.S. dollars in 2028 with all trade barriers reduced if not completely eliminated.
