Scarcity Of Water
A woman carries pitchers full of water which she has collected from a dry well, at Koli pada village in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, on May 16, 2023. Despite being surrounded by large dams, such as, Bhatsa, Tansa and Vaitarna, the residents of the area suffer from severe shortage of water during summer season as the wells dry up very quickly.
