Olive Ridley Sea Turtle Nesting Site At Kuta Beach, Bali

Eggs of Olive Ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea) are pictured after relocated on Kuta beach on May 25, 2023, in Bali, Indonesia. Set up in 2002, A non-profit organization, the Bali Sea Turtle Society (BSTS), is leading the conservation program around Kuta beaches and is trying to raise public awareness regarding the protection of sea turtles. BSTS, together with the local community, rescues sea turtle eggs laid by the mother turtle along the Kuta beach and moves them to the hatchery center for a better survival rate.
