Prime Minister Of Canada Justin Trudeau Visits Ukraine
Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shake hands during a joint a press-conference, following their meeting in Kyiv, Ukraine on 10 June 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Canada is allocating CAD 500 million (nearly USD 400 million) in military aid to Ukraine, as Ukrinform agency reports. In addition, Canada will extend the mandate of the UNIFIER military training mission until 2026, within the framework of which more than 35,000 Ukrainian soldiers have already been trained in the past eight years. Also Canada will deliver 10,000 105mm rounds and complete in the coming weeks the previously announced delivery of 122 Roshel armored vehicles.
