STORYLINE:
Russia has launched a Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with a Meteor-M weather satellite and 42 small spacecraft including three foreign satellites from the Vostochny cosmodrome, Russian State Space Corporation Roscosmos said on Tuesday.
The rocket was operating normally and was releasing the satellite and spacecraft to the projected orbit, Roscosmos said in a news release on its website.
This is the ninth launch of Russia's carrier rocket in 2023 and the 63rd flight mission for the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket.
