More than 75.7 million tonnes of cargo were shipped through the Changzhou ship lock of the Xijiang River in the same period, up by 1.64 percent year on year. The Xijiang River, a tributary of the Pearl River, is a major waterway in southwest China, which connects the eastern and western regions of China.
